The Process
Stage 1: Pre-Wedding Consultation
Initially, we meet with the couple for a pre-wedding consultation to gain an understanding of their video needs and to ensure our ideas are aligned. We value the importance of making a video uniquely yours and are sure to gain an understanding of the personalities and key stories of the couple. This allows us to understand the expectations of the video and to plan for the production stage. With experience in creating wedding videos, we are able to provide advice on the video, whilst prioritising the unique ideas that the couple have for their video. In this initial consultation, we discuss the various packages available and any additional services that the couple may want.
Stage 2: Filming the Wedding Day
The next key stage of the service is the wedding day filming. On the day of the wedding, the videographer will arrive at the location or locations that the couple have asked. This may include the bride and groom getting ready, the venue, any reception venues and more. The videographer will work hard throughout the day, working with the couple (or an assigned individual) and their wedding planner to ensure that all important moments are captured on camera. These key video moments will have been discussed in the pre-wedding consultation.
Stage 3: Post-Production Editing
The video will then go into post-production editing. This is where the footage will be edited using our software, sound effects, audio and music will be added and a final video will be produced. The videographer may use colour correction, special effects and more throughout this process to make a stunning video to exceed the couple’s expectations. This will result in a polished and professional video.
Stage 4: Final Delivery of the Wedding Video
Finally, the wedding video will be delivered to the couple. This could differ depending on the package and can come in various formats such as DVD, digital files or even custom -made USB drives. The videographer will work closely with the couple during the post-production stage to ensure that they are happy with he product before they receive the final copy.
